THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS THE CURRENT STUDENTS ASK

1 – What happens if I don't succeed in all subjects by September 30 ?

If you fail or don't take exam/test in one of the subjects only, you are allowed to transfer the unfulfilled requirements of this subject to the folowing year of study. The  subject transferred must be passed within the year it was tranferred to. The same subject cannot be tranferred two times. If you fail or don't take two or more subjects, you must repeat the year again.

2 – If I have to repeat the same year again, what tuition fees I am expected to pay ?

The full tuition fees payment (6 300 USD) is required, regardless of the number of uncompleted subjects.

3 – Does it mean that a student who failed e.g. 2 subjects will pay the same amount as someone who

failed evrything ?
Yes, no differences will be considered.

4 – What happens if a student doesn't submit the index by September 30 ?

Such a student will be considered to have left the study and will not be registered.

5 – What exactly do I have to do at registration ?

You must submit your index (and the "white card"), so that it could be checked by the study department. You also have to complete a new registration form. Before the index has been submitted, it must be completed with the list of all subjects of the following year in the same manner it was done for the previous year (or, if you repeat, you must complete the index with the same subjects again, as if you have started again the same). The same must be done with a new "white card".

6 – Why is the study information doubled  - in the index and the white card?

One day all students graduate from the university, the index will be given to graduates as a proof of their study results and the students will keep it all life. The white card will be filed and kept at the study department for another 50 years.

7 – What can I do if I am sure I am going to fail the year and I don't have the financial means to cover the repeated year?

You can interrupt you study for at least 1 year, but you must apply for it by May 30. Later applications for interruption will not be accepted. During the time of interruption you can make the efforts to complete and broaden your knowledge, the lack of which prevented you from success. You will enter the study again the folowing academic year at the same time your study was interrupted.

8 – Am I expected to pay the full amount of tuition, or the payment may be divided into partial installments?

It is highly advisable to pay the full amount, as the division complicates the accounting. If there is a serious reason for division, you have to apply for it in a written form and the terms of installments will be included in the AGREEMENT UPON STUDY.

9 – When repeating the year, am I allowed to attend some lectures or practicals of the higher year ?

No, you are not.

10 – Can I ask for accommodation in one of the student hostels, despite the fact I was staying in a rented private apartment ?

Yes, you can, but you must do it by June 30.
